Terry Fator

I was so happy when Terry won America's Got Talent, in season two! I loved all the acts he prepared for the show. Seemed family friendly enough, IMO.

Last year, I spent some time in Las Vegas, during the long road-trip home. Part of me wished I could've stayed longer, see if I could catch a showing of Terry Fator's show, and also to attend a comic-con taking place in the city. (The day my parents and I left Vegas, was the first day of the convention.)

After watching a DVD of Terry's performance though, I've changed my mind. A lot of his material is too adult for my liking.

What happened? Does a performer really have to use crude humor and/or adult themes to do well in Vegas? Ick! It's not funny, and I don't understand why the audience felt it was.

I liked him much, much better on AGT....
