I know we can't go back to how things used to be (that's what I wanted a long time ago, for you to once more be the girl I could tell anything to; This was selfishness on my part, and my unwillingness to accept your changes was partly responsible for our friendship ending), but I thought maybe we could start over, begin again from aquaintance-mode and gradually move up from there.
