extra vacation days

I went to the UW today, thinking that my vacation had ended yesterday. I found my classromm about an hour or so early, but decided to find a seat anyway. There were other people working on technical stuff in the front of the room, and I assumed that my teacher was one of them. They didn't notice me at first because they were too busy, but eventually they did. This one woman thought I had arrived for some sort of internship seminar, and I explained that I came for my Information 100 class. Well, I found the right room, but came on the wrong day. Fall Quarter at the UW doesn't start 'til Wednesday. I couldn't help but smile when I heard that!
