Blockbuster

I went to Blockbuster to see if I could still use my giftcard. I had it in my purse for a long time, and wondered if whatever amount remained after the last time I used it had vanished or not. Luckily for me, that turned out not to be the case. I had enough money on that card for one more rental. When I visited the anime section, I immediately picked up Castle in the Sky. I don't know how long I've been wanting to see this movie, but the Hollywood video near me doesn't carry it. When I went over to the tv shows-on-DVD section, I almost decided to put the anime back and rent a DVD with episodes of The Shield. I might see that one of these days, but still don't feel ready yet. (If you read my blessings list for today, you already know I didn't make the DVD switch. I stuck with the anime.) Anyway, when it came time for check out, it turned out that I gave the man behind the counter a display box! He had to retrieve a movie rental box, which took maybe a minute for him to do. Before I left the video store, I recieved my own Blockbuster membership card. (THe account's under my dad's name, but he's authorized me to rent under the account, so I recieved a copy of my dad's card.) I'm not sure when I'll actually get around to watching Castle in the Sky, which is a long anime. It's not due back 'til a week from tomorrow, so I have plenty of time. (I would've watched it today, but I chose to do some catching up with tv shows instead.)
