In Elementary School, Valentine's Day is a time to give themed cards to other students. I started out having my mom buy me the cards, but one year I made my own. That year didn't go well though, because students would either lie and say they recieved an "anonomous" card (I made sure to sign my name), or rip my cards into pieces. I starting interest in Valentine's Day at that point. I do like to see the new cards though, see what themes show up every year. If I were in elementary school now, I'd most likely be handing out Hello Kitty valentines.

I couldn't believe it when I came across Hulk valentines. Isn't this holiday supposed to be a happy time, for some people? Why did people think that a positive message would work well when used with an image of an angry character?

As a 22 year old, I don't understand why there's a holiday celebrating love. If you love another person, shouldn't you show it all year round, instead of only showing it on one day? How is a box of chocolates supposed to be an expression of love? Love should be freely given, not forced out of someone.
