To re-archive, or not to re-archive

Techincally, my July 2002 entries aren't really archived. I kept them in the "default folder" that already exists when you click on "archive older entries". If I were to archive all my diary entries, I'd have to unarchive everything, and then go through the whole archiving process all over again. Part of me wants to re-archive, because then only the links to the various months would show up. The July 2002 entries would be hidden, unless someone opened up that particular section in the archive page. Another part of me doesn't want to go through the process of re-archiving. I have over 500 entries, and the idea of putting everything into new folders again doesn't appeal to me. Who knows how long it would take? Several hours, at best? I'd have to make sure I had that much free time to spend online.
