I now have 4 Saturday morning cartoons to watch, instead of just two

Yea! Static Shock returned to the WB's animated lineup! It's nice to watch a superhero cartoon again. Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon are fun shows, but I've been wanting to see more than just those two for awhile. I liked today's ep. of Static Shock. A villian had a machine which could transport people through time, and Static accidentally traveled through the future, and was in the Batman Beyond world. The original cast from BB was brought in for this episode. I found the crossover to be interesting. I can't wait to see what happens next in Static's life.

Have any of you heard of Astro Boy? I don't know much about him, but the main character is a robot who looks like a boy. He's very curious about the world, and doesn't take well to directions. After saving people from an overloaded robot (referred to as "Magnemite"), Astro has chosen to be a supehero. I'll definately watch more episodes of this cartoon. (I found it funny that a robot in this cartoon had the same name as one of the original Pokemon.)

Speaking of Pokemon, today's episode had a lot of red herrings in it. I thought this one guy with white hair was a crook, but he turned out to be a company president. When Max first saw the president's assistant, he thought he was seeing someone who wanted to kill the president. Team Rocket made their usual appearance, but didn't have to worry 'bout Pikachu like they normally do. (They weren't enough of a threat for Ash to tell Pikachu to use one of its electrical attacks.) I hope the show will eventually do more revealing about Team Aqua and Team Magma. I don't know anything about them.

Last week, Seto was civil, but he returned to being rude this week. He's not on the top of my favorites list, but I hope he'll be able to overcome Noa's hold on Mokuba. While he did a search for his brother, the Big 5 decided (after talking to Noa first) they'd all enter Tristan's body. Originally, their duel was only going to be againt Yugi (really Yami, but other people don't notice the changes, or don't care), but Joey wanted to help out too. The Big 5 agreed to this, but only if they'd have more lifepoints (8000) than their opponents (4000 each). Yami and Joey have a disadvantage because they're being worn out by the duel. If one of the Big 5 gets tired, another member of the group can be the main guy in control of Tristan's body. What's up with the real Tristan? He's in the body of an monkey, and is slowly losing his mind. (A couple of times, he made monkey noises without fully realizing it. Tea and Serenity thought the voice switch had moved, but they were wrong.)
