calendars

The day after Christmas, my parents and I went to Northgate so we could locate 2004 calendars. I didn't know what I'd find for a calendar. I told my dad I only had room for one wall calendar, and one tearaway. Having multiple wall calendars did appeal to me, but space was an issue for me, since I didn't want to take anything off my wall yet. There were lots of calendars to look at, and I had a hard time making my sellections! I think my mom had a much easier time than I did. There were three tearaways that I liked. One had info. about Marvel characters, a second had Garfield comicstrips, and the third tearaway had various sayings for each day. I chose the Marvel tearaway, because learning the trivia will be fun! (I hope the Fantastic Four is depicted in the calendar.) At one point, there were four wall calendars I had an interest in. They were shells, coral reefs, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Care Bears. My had helped me narrow it down to the last two I mentioned, but I didn't know which one I wanted for my room! Pretty colors are used for the images in both calendars. How could I have chosen just one?! In the end, my dad bought the tearaway calendar and both wall calendars I wanted. Yea me! Didn't have to choose after all. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Calendar is set up in the hallway. It doesn't allow for much writing in the day grid. The images for this calendar take up both halves, which I'm not used to seeing. Normally, calendar images are only in the top half. I'll see Yami when I change the calendar next month (it's currenly showing the first four months of this year, with a orange background). The Care Bear calendar will go in my room. I can't wait to put it up! I also can't wait to see what'll show up when I use my Marvel tearaway calendar.

Where will my Alaska calendar go? One of my aunts sent me it for a Christmas present. The photos are very beautiful!
