Access test experience

Yesterday I survived my Access test, but I'm not too happy about the experience. The test had three parts to it.

The first part had multiple choice questions. Most of them were super easy! If I did miss some, I only missed a few.

The second part had me working on a form. At first I did a lot of struggling, because the database was read-only, and when something's in that state, I can't do anything to it. When I explained my problems to the teacher, he said I had to copy the database to the new location. The instructions didn't mention anything 'bout copying, and it took me awhile to figure out how to do that. Once I got going however, things were fine - for a little while. I knew how to create the fields and line them up, and also how to create task buttons. Problems didn't start up again 'til I sent the command to print. I thought only the data I had entered would exit the printer, but the data already in the database started to print too! I had to cancel the print job, which later caused printer problems.

The third part of the test required me to add things to what I had done already. I had to redo the second part though in order to attempt work on the third part. However, I had difficulty doing the additions, and when I looked at my watch, I realized only 3 minutes of class time were left. Not enough time for me to do everything successfully, so I was only able to turn in the first two parts of the test. I'll get partial credit for the handson section. I hope it's enough to have the score for the test to be above failing.
