upcoming picnic

I'm supposed to be going to a picnic today, but I don't know when I'll be leaving. I thought I heard that my dad and I would leave the house around 10:45, but he is still in his underwear! This will be my second picnic this year. I did enjoy the first one, though the girl I befriended that day never did reply to the letter I sent her. I'm a bit peeved over that. Why did she agree to give me her address if she wasn't serious about being one of my penpals? I don't know why I agreed to go to today's picnic. The thing I know about it is that the location is in Woodland Park. I wonder if I'll hear any of the zoo animals nearby. I hope I don't have to eat a hot dog. Blech! I used to love hot dogs, but now can't stand them. Tastes change, I guess.
